Today at at church our Pastor spoke on a subject that struck a cord with me, and that is worry. I am part of that club and indicated this profession by raising my hand high in church today. The Lord says in, Matthew: 27 "Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin."
Matthew 6:27-28New International Version (NIV)
It's good to get things off your chest so to speak, in a confessional atmosphere, whether it's in a small group or with family and friends. Please note that all your business should not be told in public says my sister, especially in the workplace. She said that others can judge or even think differently of you, after you reveal certain things. I believe that too! Be wise and respectful to yourself.
However, God wants us to have alliances with others we trust and share our lives, not wallowing in past hurts or sins. Those type of thoughts are grievous to the spirit, and holding unforgiveness within is just not good for your health.
I love Jesus and know he has forgiven me for my sins, and his Son died for our sin on the cross.
I come in Love,
Dee
