Teams Approach

Today, in America, people are talking about jobs and how to sustain themselves in this economy. We all want security in good work that has some value to the community at large. In the workplace there are teams of employees, which play various roles, and possess different personalities and talents. Teams are very important in today’s workforce; however everyone does not get recognized for their value.  I Corinthians 12: 4 & 12 expresses the importance of understanding individuals in teams, “Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit 4…For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also in Christ 12.”
Secondly, another thought I'd like to express is, when some people of a team (body) choose not to walk in worth, but in competition the whole is lost. God wants us all to walk worthily, in harmony and for his purpose! I found a great way to look at a plan for human resources, and this is expressed in Ephesians 4:1-3, “I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that we walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,1  With all lowliness and meekness, with long suffering, forbearing one another in love;2 Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 3” That sums it all up saints, people in the workplace should dwell in love, while possessing a servants mentality.
The Lord calls for us to recognize and honor each others worth. Be an individual that bonds to the cause through love and unity, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
