Sunday's are our official day of rest, and relaxation.
This is a time to revive, release and mediate for the renewal
of your mind. Today was a good day for me because I, for the first time in a
while, was able to get in tune with peace. I talk it, got the peace plaque on my
desk at work, but today I really lived it. I read stuff, did a little work
for my vocation, listened to music, read a magazine cover to
cover, and just did it my way! I even cooked a good ole country down
home, pot on the stove, rib stickin' meal. Now that's a good day. I ran out to
the store and even saw a dear friend from an old job out the corner of my eye,
but I had the grunge look on, sunglasses and one of my crazy hats! I just could
not bring myself to speak and get into along conversation, because remember this was my day. I spoke by phone to my sister; even got on facebook for a
minute or two. However, the real lesson was to get close to myself and listen
what my body needed and my soul cried out for, and I actually succeeded in
slowing down and teaching myself to take off the garment of heaviness, that has
weighed me down for such a long time. It's
crazy folks how you can ruin and run your life away and never know a true moment of peace, or a oneness with the Lord. Of course I had a few things to
talk to the Lord about and made my request known and offered my best gift.
After all the Lord says, 1 Samuel 25:35 “Then
David accepted from her hand what she had brought him and said, “Go home in peace. I
have heard your words and
granted your request.”
Come on try this with me next weekend, and cleanse your
spirit, it'll change your life. That what it's all about sharing, giving and
coaching others to be well! I finally found my true cause for being here, and
love it.
You
will definitely hear more about this cause; I'm ready for the next level or just
a nearly perfect week. Try this route, you've tried everything else; the adversary will run, because the glow of the Lord will be upon you!
Dede.
