A Fine Dance

I tell people all the time that life is a fine dance, and once you get out of step you miss the mark! A balance has to be formed to capture all God has to offer you, and many times we miss the Lord being out of step.  

I have said many times in previous blogs that God is waiting on you, not the other way around. We are people that spend our time unwisely, and serve many other masters. Watch this, “ ¹³ The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. ¹⁴ Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.” 

Curses for Disobedience

¹⁵ However, if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you:” Deuteronomy 28:13-15

The Lord our God wants us to serve him in all we do. Instead, we worship jobs, our possessions and rarely think how we got them. Moreover, you must learn how to share your time! I have found, since becoming a Christian, that even your time with God is stewardship. Make the connection today by serving and loving only the one true and living God!
