Your thought life!

Man watches what you wear and judge you; however the measure of a MAN is not in his appearance. Watch this, “But the Lord said unto Samuel, look not at his contenance,  or on the height or his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord lookeketh on the heart.”  I Samuel 16:7 Most great leaders are chosen for their stature and good looks, however some fall short because of their weak personal life. Regarding people on reality television shows, they obtain their celebrity for just being, not doing anything at all. I just don’t watch those shows, they have no appeal to me, and I must be careful of what I allow into my spiritual eye and ear gate. The things that are portrayed in the entertainent media are sometimes vile and deceithful and you can bring these thoughts up again in your dealing with others, if you are not careful. Some say a thought turns into an action, if it is repeated enough. However, I am so glad for Christian broadcasting and Christian movies in theaters, nowadays. People of faith let Godly things guide your thoughts, it’s proven in the word, watch this, “And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.”  I Samuel 10:6  See while you are meditating on good things the Lord might bring a revelation to you that may change your whole life. Wonder could the Lord get in if you where watching some porn or trash television, I think not. Keep your thoughts on Godly things, so he can do a good work in your life, and it is your responsibility to be faithful! I feel it is a priviledge to hear from the Holy Spirit on the Lord’s behalf. He is my guide always. Be blessed, think purity, love one another, and please live in harmony & respect.
