This last week was Holy Week, and it has been a new awakening for me, due to some news I received. Today is Easter Sunday here in the USA. Most of us follow the seasonal traditions of cooking the big suppers for family, putting on Easter egg hunts for the children, and of course buying new clothes and shoes.
However, what I believe the holy spirit is saying in this hour, is to remember Jesus rose from the dead on the third, he left his shroud (clothing) in the tomb. He put on a new garment, had a fresh word in his mouth, and gained a new position in the Kingdom.
We should do that, especially when the old ways become burdensome and limits our progress. I implore you saints to banish your old life because you belong to the Father as well. Get rid of past hurts, conflicts, meanness, judgment, and sad memories. Be happy, rejoice and spread joy, like the women at the tomb when they proclaimed, he has risen!
We can sit in heavenly places like Jesus, study the tenants of Proverbs 10: 1-12, and gain new insight. Proverbs 10:13 says, "Wise words come from the lips of people with understanding, but fools will be punished with a rod."
Many of our kids should follow this one, read Proverbs 10:1, "A wise child brings joy to a father; a foolish child brings grief to a mother." Become a good role model to your kids, your family, and the world, so more can experience the love of the Lord Jesus.
Many Blessings,
DEE
