His Voice

Today, I want to share about what I’m doing to expand my career and ministry. I’ve taken the plunge to create a life coaching business, which will serve adults going through a career or other change in their life. I can’t say it’s a daring move because it is something I’ve thought about and planned for a very long time.  First, I had to evaluate the marketplace, perform research & development, and write a business plan. In Hab. 2:2 says, ^“And the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain upon tablets that he may run that readeth it.” 

However, I feel like I’ve been riding a ghost horse and he’s tired of carrying the load, and others are weary of me talking about it. Wonder have you ever gone through this phase before? I got news for you friends, time marches on and you may never get there, you gotta just do it!

The Lord sometimes gives you a vision, without telling you the expiration date, but I felt the nudge to carry on at this particular time. I have found that usually God's voice comes to me in a visions or a dream. Let’s read about hearing from the Lord, while listening and waiting for his timing. I Kings 19-12 explains it like this, “And after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice.” Is this you right now? Even if you are going through something just listen and wait…do not be discouraged!
