Oh but God!

Have you ever been in a state of confusion and doubt in knowing which path to take? It may be that you are having an in between two doors experience. The door behind you is bolted shut, and you don't know whether to just knock or kick in the one in front of you.  I will admit whole hearted that I've just came out of that frustrating time. I was looking at the door behind me as a possible opportunity, but knew full well that it was out. The door in front of me was unknown and scary! I was getting a little claustrophobic in that tight space between doubt and fear.

Additionally, to top it all off the devil had to stir the pot of confusion, and I fell into the sin of  being too busy! Needless to say, I began to question what the Lord really had for me regarding my life's path.

After much travailing I finally came to the end of myself, and that's when I heard his voice. So I looked up saw a beam of  light above me and that holy discernment kicked in, then I knew which door to enter in to.  In 2 Kings 9:3 it states, "Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head and say, ‘Thus saith the Lord: “I have anointed thee king over Israel.” Then open the door and flee, and tarry not.”

The lesson for me was; when you are in a tight place you simply look up! The Lord will anoint you with wisdom and show you the right direction!
