It’s not what you wear for folks!

We as women grapple with what to wear on a daily basis, and have poor self image because of the age old question, does that look right on me?  Got your answer, because the best dressed saints are using this design; consider this, “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11  You do don’t have to pay money for this suit of clothing, however it’s a small price, become God’s girl!

Females of all ages, social economic groups, and nationalities suffer from poor self image. Unknowingly, a females main go to thing is shopping, and often times they only desire to fill a void. Many women perceive that fine clothing makes them who they are.  Seeking worldly things, to make you feel better, is a pit straight from hell!

Please note that I've done this myself, thinking that clothes that cover my body will encourage others to feel something different about me. I now feel it’s not the apparel you put on, but it’s what you have on the inside, that really counts. It is the Holy Spirit that gives you influence and that certain glow! Consequently, that announces to others who’s you are.

Of course I would not suggest that you not wear nice things, but be aware of how excessive self adornment can become idolatry! God does not like any other gods before him; he is a jealous God, as well. Watch this, "You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God” (Exodus 20:4-5). 

So, think of this when you purchase that next two-hundred & fifty dollar handbag. It’s not designer you are wearing, but who you represent that counts. Nothing personal folks!
