Hello Friends......Well the holiday season is upon us again.  We tend to overdo by shopping too much, moreover some of the tangible gifts are totally unnecessary. Children are our greatest gift and responsibility. However, we do not spend enough time teaching them the gift of giving to others, loving themselves, or even sharing the stories of the gospels. 

Consider this thought friends..... the field is wide to evangelize to someone by spending time with them and teaching them the word. It will do you more good than you know. Helping others is what I do each day as an educator. In my opinion, many children become harden in their spirit around third grade, and the older they get the more they turn on the world. Moreover, without a good moral foundation our children's boundaries become fuzzy and they cannot discern what is real. I am not saying as parents it's all your fault when your child goes bad, but your lack of  modeling positive behavior may be a factor in them turning out to have poor values. We are so busy trying to buy their love and affection as parents, we do not see what is real. Our children need quality time not quality clothes! 

During this time of year I bless you with the words of the Lord, "He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full respect."             1 Timothy 3:4
