First, I give reverence
to God and thank him, for he is the head of my life! I urge you to be grateful for being able to read these words and having
insight to capture the meaning.
Today, I went out to buy
a gospel track at a discount store in Norcross. I don’t shop a lot and was
really taken back by all the new things in the stores nowadays. Convenience is
the key; value is placed on items that sell and they are displayed right out
front. Needless to say, I did not find my Christian CD right away because it
was stocked under rhythm and blues. However, I met a nice young fellow, later
found out he was the electronics manager, and he helped me complete my search. Oh,
this also happened; I told the manager that I had a very beautiful niece and he
was interested in meeting her. Well, I got all the way home and had to come
back for the CD, because I discovered it was not in my grocery bags. I told my
niece to ride back to the store with me, to pick up the CD and to meet the gentleman.
They had an immediate connection, and plan to get acquainted. I am glad because
she has met unsavory fellows that have taken her for granted, and caused deep heartache for her and the family. It is funny how
life is sometimes; you may even receive something you were not looking for
right away, it may be hidden away just for the right time. Watch this, “To appoint until them that mourn in Zion, to
give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of
praise for the spirit of heaviness; that
they might be called trees of
righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.” Isaiah 61:3 God’s timing is perfect and his will for your life may not be on display yet! Wait patiently.
Finally, be good to yourself and don’t be troubled by former things. Saints, we should value
the good things in life such as kindness, humility, and internal fortitude.
Do good...Love well,
Dede
