You know how sometimes you get beside yourself with the ways of the wicked, and wonder how do they sleep at night knowing how they have hurt others? I am convinced that their sleep is tormented not potent or pure, like that of God’s children. However, our life does not entail worrying about the wicked, but fulfilling the promise.
My confession is that, “I love you Lord and follow your ways, so I may reach the desired end!” I follow God’s statutes and feel a perfect peace within them, and hide in the word for his protection. The word says this, “Your principles have been the music of my life throughout the years of my pilgrimage. I reflect at night in who you are, O Lord, and I obey your law because of this. This is my happy way of life: obeying your commandments.” Psalm 119:54-56
I constantly say, “Oh Lord how I want to reap the rewards that are set for me.” I do not beg for things to be manifested in my life, but thank him that he is able! I pray to the Lord daily and ask for wisdom, as said in Psalms, “You have done many good things for me, Lord, just as you promised. I believe in your command; now teach me good judgement and knowledge.” Psalm 119: 65-66
I believe that being a good Christian is not only doing, but having faith that your future is planned. I always thought mine was strangely orchestrated, the good and the bad, however we must be strong to finish our course. So today, I challenge my readers to ask the Lord the following question! What is your will for my life? Then follow his course and see greater results. If you practice this you will not go wrong.
My hope is that you rest well, and again do not look at the failing of others, or in your review mirror.
