Giving THANKS!

Today is Sunday, I write about the upcoming holiday season. Thanksgiving was first set up by early settlers to pay homage to a fruitful harvest. Today we recognize this day to celebrate peace among mankind and give thanksgiving to those things we hold dear. I do this on a daily what about you? Most importantly for me Thanksgiving is a time to remember God’s goodness and mercy.
However, I ask the Lord, “That I may publish with a voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works." Psalm 26:7    I am purely thankful for peace, deliverance and protection from evil. You Lord have provided me with favor and grace. I THANK the Lord for health and strength to do his will and become the woman of God he desires me to be. My ambition is to be a lamplight wherever I go, lift up the Good News, and to let everyone know that he lives.
Also it is important to realize that we can all share his goodness with others as kingdom dwellers, “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” Psalm 24:1     My prayer is that,” The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seeks him: your heart shall live forever.” Psalm 22:26
Live well, love strong, forgive quickly, and most of all give THANKS for his mercy endures forever.
