Mother’s Day

Yesterday was Mother’s Day here in America. I had a nice day, however I chose to rest and reflect. Even though I spent the day alone, I could feel the love all around me. My sister cooked dinner, I did not go over, but we talked on the phone. My youngest Son sent me two gift cards for dinner out and a lovely card. It was a rainy day here in Georgia and I just wanted to snuggle to the couch and watch TV, and that’s exactly what I did. Sometimes you gotta take care of you and be that way. Mother’s give so much of themselves to the world that sometimes home or self is left out of the equation. We must take care of ourselves saints because we are God’s property, set up to propagate the kingdom. Once we spend ourselves on useless task, that have no heavenly meaning, how are we going to do his will?

Please don’t waste time…God is watching, leave those false idols alone, you know what it is! Take a look at these verses, “Do not turn to idols or make metal gods for yourselves. I am the LORD your God. Leviticus 19:4  My Grandmother used to say we serve a jealous God and let no man stand before him with vain ambitions. Yes, that’s in the bible too. Please heed to this warning folks, “Do not make idols or set up an image or a sacred stone for yourselves, and do not place a carved stone in your land to bow down before it. I am the LORD your God.”  Leviticus 26:1   And this is what he will do if you disobey his commands. “I will destroy your high places, cut down your incense altars and pile your dead bodies on the lifeless forms of your idols, and I will abhor you.” Leviticus 26:30
